Would you like to represent Metro on the Community Housing Tenant Network (CHTN)?

The aim of the Community Housing Tenant Network is to provide a broader voice for tenants’ interests by:

  • Promoting discussion and community engagement through activities, events and forums on issues of interest to all members of the CHTN. There will be a guest speaker.
  • Sharing good practice initiatives from across the Community Housing sector to help improve services to our tenants;
  • Advocating for government funding and/or policy changes that will benefit all Social Housing tenants

Metro Community Housing is entitled to nominate 2 representatives for the Community Housing Tenant Network and we currently have one position vacant. If you would like to nominate for this position please contact the current tenant representative Malcolm Pollard by text on 0490060843, or email - or contact the Metro office on 95654599. Nominations will be confirmed at the Biennial General Meeting on 3 December 2018.

The network meets on the 1st Monday of the month between 10am to 1pm at Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA NSW) Suite 5, 619 Elizabeth Street REDFERN. This is located halfway between Cleveland Street and Redfern Park. Meetings are open to all network members and a diverse range of guest speakers are invited to meetings throughout the year.

To be either a Metro Tenant Representative or a Member of the Tenant Network you will need to fill in a membership form, therefore receiving our periodic Newsletter. Membership is FREE.
